The electric iteration of the iconic muscle car has been updated for the model year 2025 while lowering the price
The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E receives minor, but useful updates along with a new starting price. Mach-E is already among the best-selling EVs in the U.S. It has held on to that title for a while now. In essence, it carries on the legacy the ‘Mustang’ moniker embodies. Having said that, the Blue Oval has ensured that it backs that nameplate up with actual performance and features.

2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E
If you wish to get your hands on the 2025 model, the prices start at $36,495. This excludes destination charges. However, this is a considerable $3,500 lower than the existing version. On top of that, the entire 2025 range of the Ford Mustang Mach-E now gets a heat pump as standard. Remember, Ford did the same with the F-150 Lightning a year ago. There are tons of advantages of a heat pump.
For instance, it aids the EV battery by complimenting the HVAC system in various conditions. This includes keeping the cabin cool when it is hot outside, as well as keeping the cabin warm when it is chilly outside. Apart from that, it also keeps the EV battery in an optimal operational temperature range by pre-heating it during cold start scenarios. This improves the efficiency and performance of the battery. Also, the battery drainage is minimized. All this translates, indirectly, to increased efficiency and range.
Other alterations include the introduction of Automatic Lane Change to the BlueCruise ADAS system. This mechanism will alert the driver before making a lane change for any reason via a visual and audio cue. However, the driver can always override this feature by physically intervening with the steering. Additionally, the muscle EV now gets the gear lever on the steering column.
There are also new color options to choose from. These are Molten Magenta Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Velocity Blue Metallic and Desert Sand. Now, the Ford Connectivity Package incorporates Wi-Fi Hotspot for 10 personal devices, app access via the infotainment screen and navigation. Finally, there is a new Sport Appearance Package (from Mach-E GT) on offer to customize the exterior of the Premium trim. These elements include things like:
- 19-inch High-Gloss Black Painted Wheels
- Red Brembo Brake Calipers
- Red Stitching
- Ventilated Front Seats
- Sporty Pedals
- Grille Shield
