The 2025 Lexus RZ has received new entry-level trims and a price cut which takes its prices even lower than the Toyota bz4X. To entice new buyers, the luxury arm of the Japanese car marque has introduced a new base variant called the 300e. It bears a price tag of a cool $43,975 including destination charges. Hence, potential buyers who want to get their hands on the Lexus RZ electric SUV now have the perfect opportunity.

2025 Lexus RZ Costs Less Than Toyota bz4X
The 2025 Lexus RZ range starts at $43,975 for the 300e FWD variant and goes all the way up to $58,605 for the 450e Luxury AWD trim. These prices are inclusive of the $1,175 destination fee. Also, the starting price is a full $11,200 more affordable than the previous model. For reference, the 2024 Toyota bz4X has a price tag of $44,465 including the $1,395 destination fee. Clearly, there is a difference of $490.
Now, the new entry-level is not just significantly cheaper than its predecessor, it even boasts some handy amenities. These include things like dual-zone climate control, NuLuxe front seats with 10-way power adjustment for the driver, tilt and telescopic power steering, wireless smartphone charger, a 10-speaker audio system, LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, dual-tone 18-inch wheels, and more.
The safety prowess is also taken care of with the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 package. This driver assistance suite boasts handy functionalities like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist. Other safety features include Road Sign Assist, a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, and a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
The electric SUV possesses a decent-sized 72.8 kWh battery pack which offers an EPA-estimated range of 266 miles (428 km). The electric motor powers the front wheels with 201 hp (150 kW) and 196 lb-ft (265 Nm) of maximum power and torque.
