Initially, the Tesla Cybertruck AWD and Foundation Series CyberBeast will be on sale.
Canada and Mexico will now get their share of the Tesla Cybertruck. The futuristic electric pickup truck was first showcased back in 2019. At the time, people from all across the world demonstrated interest. In fact, the American EV giant commenced taking reservations. However, what followed next was quite unfortunate. Due to various reasons (including the pandemic), the launch eluded us until December 2023. In the last 9 months, the deliveries took place in the U.S. Finally, enthusiasts in Canada and Mexico will also be able to get their hands on the EV.

Tesla Cybertruck in Canada and Mexico
Until June 26, 2024, the largest EV maker on the planet was able to deliver 11,688 units of the Cybertruck in the U.S. Now, the enthusiasts who booked the electric pickup truck in Canada and Mexico will start getting the AWD and CyberBeast variants. In Canada, the starting price is a rather steep CAD$137,990 for the AWD guise and CAD$165,990 for the Foundation Series CyberBeast. Note that these amounts are prior to taxes and fees.
Interestingly, the Federal Luxury Tax is included in these retail stickers. This amounts to CAD$8,173 on the AWD and $13,773 on the CyberBeast versions. This tax was introduced in 2022 for vehicles which retail for over CAD$100,000. 10% or 20% Federal Luxury Tax is levied on the amount over CAD$100,000. To give some relief to the potential buyers, Tesla is working to get all Cybertruck models exempted from this tax. This tax becomes active for vehicles which are over 3,856 kg (8,501 lbs). The lightest Tesla Cybertruck weighs 4,007 kg (8,834 lbs). Note that the prices for the Mexican Cybertruck models are not announced yet.
