The top variant will bear some specific design distinctions and added features
The Hyundai Ioniq 9 Calligraphy variant was recently spotted road testing in California, U.S. The Ioniq 9 is the flagship EV from the Korean auto giant. It was revealed a few weeks ago at the LA Auto Show. For the American and Korean markets, the launch is slated for the first half of 2025. Other markets including Europe will be able to get their hands on this colossal EV thereafter.

Hyundai Ioniq 9 Calligraphy Spotted
We are able to get clear glimpses of the Hyundai Ioniq 9 Calligraphy edition courtesy of KindelAuto on YouTube. The visuals capture the attractive EV in stealth black paint shade plying on the road. The description of the video mentions that this is a pre-production model. The first thing which pops out is the mammoth 21-inch alloy wheels with detailed spokes.
While the overall exterior and interior design will remain the same as the regular iteration, the Calligraphy Design package will certainly add more appeal. This includes things like a microfiber suede roof trim, a premium cargo sill plate, a two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 10″ Head-Up Display (HUD), and a full-display mirror FDM with HomeLink. Clearly, those looking for sheer new-age amenities would want to get this trim.
Remember, I even reported the alleged XRT version of the Hyundai Ioniq 9 in its home market a few days ago. Clearly, Hyundai won’t be stopping at the launch of the regular 7-seat electric SUV.
