The much-awaited premium electric crossover will be made in South Korea for the American market
The 2026 Polestar 4 is finally available for customers in the U.S. Note that it was due for sales for a long time now. In fact, the deliveries had already started in many parts of the globe, including Europe and Australia, last year. Going back even further, the production in China started in 2023. However, due to the recent tariff war between the U.S. and China, the Chinese-made EV didn’t make it to America.

2026 Polestar 4 Goes On Sale Officially In The U.S.
The performance electric crossover from the Geely-owned Swedish car marque will finally find homes in the U.S. Initially, the EV will be assembled in Busan, South Korea. The starting price is $56,400 and interested buyers can configure their model via the Polestar website. This 2026 model will be delivered to the customers by fall this year, with the production slated to commence in the coming weeks.
It offers 5 trims – Long Range Single Motor w/ Standard Pilot Pack, Long Range Single Motor w/ Standard Pilot and Plus Pack, Long Range Dual Motor w/ Standard Pilot Pack, Long Range Dual Motor w/ Standard Pilot and Plus Pack and Long Range Dual Motor w/ Standard Pilot, Plus and Performance Pack Furthermore, the carmaker claims an EPA-est. range between 270 miles (434 km) and 300 miles (483 km).
The battery capacity is a considerable 100 kWh and the power and torque figures range from 272 hp / 253 lb-ft (343 Nm) to a whopping 544 hp / 506 lb-ft (686 Nm), respectively. These are quite impressive numbers, highlighting the sheer capability of the EV. Taking care of DC fast charging is a 200 kW charger, which will ensure short stops between charging events. In the most aggressive settings, the acceleration from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) comes up in just 3.7 seconds.
