The latest model of the electric sedan received a fresh look a few days ago
The new Hyundai Ioniq 6 has already been spotted driving on public roads in its native market. We saw the first glimpse of the new iteration at its unveiling at the Seoul Mobility Show 2025 in South Korea last week. The Korean giant even announced that the fire-breathing Ioniq 6 N will debut by July this year. Finally, we were able to catch the ‘electric streamliner’ as a test mule on public roads.

The latest video clip stems from the Healer TV channel on YouTube. The visuals capture the electric sedan having a day out on public roads. Interestingly, it is without heavy camouflage, which gives us a great view of the design. The tail section is dominated by the prominent ducktail spoiler, along with a heavily contoured bumper with metallic inserts and a full-width LED taillamp.
Furthermore, the side profile encapsulates the sloping roofline with a sharp rear quarter, flush-fitting door handles, striking dual-tone alloy wheels and a rugged body cladding on the door panels. The thing which caught my eye was the digital camera feedback for the ORVMs. In the latter part of the video, we even got a brisk look at the front fascia. It includes LED DRLs, which double up as turn signals, and a sporty lower bumper section.
The Korean car marque has even enhanced the cabin with a redesigned steering wheel, more premium materials for the door trims, a more functional center console and a larger climate control display. We know that Hyundai never disappoints when it comes to the latest tech, connectivity and convenience amenities to pamper the occupants. More details will emerge closer to the launch.

Now, what I find quite intriguing and a bit weird is the fact that Hyundai was not able to sell as many Ioniq 6 EVs in the last couple of years as it would’ve liked, despite bagging critical acclaim. Also, it is one of the most efficient EVs on sale at the moment. Hence, the sales aspect is exactly what the Korean auto giant must be aiming to change with this fresh design. Let us see how well the crowd embraces it this time around.
