The Hyundai Inster sub-compact EV takes home the title of the 2025 World Electric Vehicle. This prestigious award was presented to the EV at the 2025 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS). This marks the immense success of the Korean auto giant, as this is its 4th straight year of massive success at the World Car Awards. Previously, the Ioniq 5 N, Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 have achieved high accolades and victories in 2024, 2022, and 2023, respectively.

Hyundai Inster Crowned 2025 World Electric Vehicle
The World Car Awards contains 96 international automotive journalists from 30 nations. Therefore, to emerge at the top after a thorough scrutiny is a validation of the product. This is the 4th consecutive year marking the dominance of the Korean auto giant at the World Car Awards.
In 2024, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N won the World Performance Car Award, in 2023, the Ioniq 6 and in 2022, the Ioniq 5 bagged triple victories. This year, the Inster sub-compact EV has taken home the title of the 2025 World Electric Vehicle, continuing the tradition.
