Continuing on with the affordable range of EVs, Kia will introduce the EV4 in sedan and hatchback body styles
The upcoming Kia EV4 has been spotted yet again out in the open with a modern interior. This time around, we get to witness a glimpse inside the cabin. With the aim of undercutting the Tesla Model 3, the EV4 is likely to borrow a whole host of equipment from its younger sibling, the EV3. The Korean auto giant would ideally want to pull the masses with its relatively affordable range of electric cars including the EV3 and EV4 in comparison to the EV6 and EV9. For now, let us glance at what the fresh spy pics highlight.

Kia EV4 Interior Spy Shots
We are able to experience these images courtesy of Car Scoops. Since we have already spotted the EV from the outside on multiple occasions in recent times, the main highlight of these new pics is what lies inside. I am happy to report that the Kia EV4 will come with ginormous dual-connected touchscreen displays – one for the driver’s instrument gauge and one for the infotainment screen. Moreover, the EV gets a flat-bottom two-spoke steering wheel with multimedia controls.
Underneath the massive screens, there are drum-style toggle switches nestled around the AC vents. Below that, you will get touch-sensitive buttons for various in-cabin functions. Going by what is available on the EV3, the EV4 could borrow a lot of elements including things like ChatGPT AI voice control and Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Component sharing with the EV3 will help keep costs down.
Talking about the heart of the upcoming electric sedan/hatchback, we can expect the same powertrain as the EV3. This includes the choice between a 58.3 kWh or an 81.4 kWh battery pack. In the lower trims, we will most likely see the 2WD setup capable of generating 201 hp (150 kW). However, the driving enthusiasts would love the dual-motor AWD GT version that will also most likely be on offer. Needless to say, the EV will be underpinned by Hyundai’s E-GMP architecture. More details will emerge as the 2025 launch nears.
