2025 Audi e-tron GT Launched

2025 Audi RS e-tron GT Performance Makes 912 hp, Gets To 60 mph In 2.4 Seconds

The 2025 range might be a mid-life facelift, but it bears some significant performance and price enhancements

The 2025 Audi e-tron GT is available in S e-tron GT, RS e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT Performance trims internationally. However, the U.S. buyers will only get the base and top variants. e-tron GT is a flagship electric sedan from the German car marque. The entry-level model starts at $125,000 excluding destination and delivery fees. This is a considerable $19,000 higher than the pre-facelift model. Similarly, the top-of-the-line RS e-tron GT Performance now retails for a whopping $167,000. This is a $19,900 premium over the 2024 RS e-tron GT. The deliveries will commence next year.

In addition to the massive bump in the price tag, the performance specs have been upped correspondingly. Firstly, the battery size has been increased from 93.4 kWh to 105 kWh. That has resulted in a surge in range from 249 miles (400 km) to 300 miles (483 km). The standard trim makes 670 hp which, incidentally, is even higher than the old flagship RS e-tron GT. This propels a 0-60 mph (96 kmph) sprint in a mere 3.3 seconds, 0.6 seconds quicker than the old version.

Taking care of the ride and handling, the 2025 model range uses an improved air suspension which can actively manage body movements to keep the chassis level. However, things take a substantial upgrade with the range-topping RS e-tron GT Performance variant which is capable of generating a spine-chilling 912 hp. It is almost unbelievable to think that the old top model made ‘just’ 637 hp. The new model launches to 60 mph (96 kmph) from a standstill in a blistering 2.4 seconds. This makes it the quickest-accelerating production Audi ever.
