2026 Lexus RZ Promises More Range And Performance

The new model year of the RZ has been improved marginally in almost every aspect. That has resulted in a huge overall impact. For instance, the prime areas of concern include a redesigned battery, faster charging capabilities, a redesigned motor system and M Mode for a simulated 8-speed gear shift experience. As one can see, there is a bit of enhancement in each section.

It is available in three versions – RZ 350e, RZ 450e AWD and RZ 550e F Sport AWD. With the latter, the performance is now stronger with 402 hp on tap. This enables a 0-60 mph (96 km/h) sprint time of just 4.1 seconds. Expectedly, this compromises the range, at 225 miles with a 76.96 kWh battery pack. The RZ 450e AWD offers 308 hp and has a range of 260 miles, which is pretty decent.

Nevertheless, if you are interested in range, the RZ 350e is good for 300 miles with a 74.69 kWh battery pack. Furthermore, we can expect a 10-80% DC fast charging time of around 30 minutes via a 150 kW charger. Lexus claims that the M Mode allows drivers to control power out with paddle shifters, just like using a manual transmission.
