As per the details of this offer, for the R1T and R1S dual-motor variants with Max battery pack, the benefits are worth $3,000 in the U.S. and $4,300 CAD in Canada. Furthermore, if you are opting for the Dual Motor Max battery and Performance upgrade, this number jumps up to $4,500 in the U.S. and $6,500 CAD in Canada. Finally, the tri-motor versions offer $6,000 discounts in the U.S. and $8,600 CAD in Canada.
To avail of these offers, one needs to request a trade-in estimate of your existing vehicle. Note that it can’t be a demo car, pre-owned car or custom build cars. Interestingly, you don’t need to trade-in the car immediately. You just have to place a new order for an eligible R1 model via Rivian’s online store between January 21 and March 31 and then take the delivery before March 31. These are the conditions to get the benefits.
Understandably, these figures might not seem all that great considering the starting price of the eligible R1S model is a whopping $89,900 or a lease amount of $1,099 per month. The eligible R1T Dual models commence at around $90,000, while for the Tri-motor iterations, the starting prices are $100,900 which go up to $111,300. Therefore, the benefits might seem minor to some. However, a penny saved is a penny earned!
