The performance monster comes with a 641-hp mill capable of reaching 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in just 3.4 seconds

The lease price on the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N has been reduced significantly. This is done in order to clear the inventory as the Korean carmaker prepares to launch the 2026 model. The Ioniq 5 range is one of the most popular EVs from Hyundai across various international markets over the last couple of years. In fact, it started the massive EV revolution for Hyundai with the E-GMP architecture. Subsequently, there are almost half-a-dozen E-GMP-based EVs from Hyundai, Kia and Genesis today.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 N Lease Price Reduced

Now, one of the major hurdles to mass EV adoption in the world is the high initial price. That is where the leasing option becomes attractive. At present, the interested buyers can take home the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N at $899 for 36 months with a $3,999 down payment. These figures are excluding the taxes and delivery fees. This results in a total lease amount of $1,010 per month.

However, until June 2, 2025, you can avail of a mouth-watering discount, where this number drops down to just $699 per month for the same duration. Note that the down payment amount remains unchanged. As per Car Scoops, Hyundai achieved this by cutting the Money Factor.

It refers to the interest rate used to calculate the rent charge. It has been reduced to 0.00017 for 24 months / 12,000 miles leases and 0.00016 for 36 months / 10,000 miles leases. At the same time, it inflated the residual values to 52% and 45%, respectively, at the end of the lease. With all this, the effective lease amount comes out to be $810 before taxes and delivery fees and $848.17 per month, respectively.

Finally, the Korean car marque is offering a purchase option at the end of the lease for $32,484 with an additional $300 fee. For reference, the new model currently bears a price tag of $67,675. In comparison, the Tesla Model 3 Performance retails for $54,990 before any federal tax credits.

I believe that anyone wanting a performance EV like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N might not necessarily be too price-sensitive. Nevertheless, a considerable reduction in the monthly lease price wouldn’t hurt anyone. In any case, Hyundai just wants to make sure that the dealers don’t struggle with huge inventory when the 2026 model arrives. Hence, in essence, everyone benefits in this particular deal.
