The Kia EV4 has finally been officially revealed from the outside ahead of the world premiere. It is not all that common for carmakers to take the wraps off upcoming products completely before their debut. Still, Kia decided to do so, perhaps to create buzz around the new electric car. Understandably, the visuals pertaining to the interior are still concealed.

The official images confirm the similarities with the concept model. In fact, it is quite impressive how much of the concept has made it to the production avatar. At the front, we witness the flowing bonnet with a sleek black panel on the edge of the bonnet with vertically oriented LED DRLs along with slim LED headlamps. The black elements underneath the bumper infuse a sporty vibe to the overall appearance.

On the sides, things look in line with other Kia EVs, particularly like the EV6. The EV4 gets black side pillars, dual-tone aero alloy wheels, black claddings on the door panels, flush-fitting door handles and a wide body rear end. In the sedan iteration, the tail end extends quite evidently almost making it look like a coupe SUV. It is not so far out in the hatchback guise.

Other bits at the rear incorporate a shark fin antenna, slim LED taillamps vertically stacked on the edges with a slim light bar which runs the width of the vehicle and a roof-mounted spoiler. The hatchback is certainly the more traditional of the two. Overall, the EV bears a modern appearance with vivid elements borrowed from its other electric siblings. The details about the interior, tech and features will surface at the world premiere on February 27, 2025, at the Kia EV Day event in Spain. There, we will also witness the EV2 and PV5 along with the EV4. Also, the EV4 will even come with the GT-Line guises.

On this occasion, Karim Habib, Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Global Design, said, “The Kia EV4 is a clear reflection of our commitment to rethink mobility, and expand the boundaries of what design can achieve. By offering both saloon and hatchback variants, we are bringing to our customers, the unique experience of modernity and practicality that defines the Kia EV family, in a way that suits their varied lifestyles and needs.”

The Kia EV4 promises to be yet another relatively affordable model from the Korean auto giant. This is a huge factor in reaching the masses even though the more expensive EV6 and EV9 have been quite successful despite their price tags. What will be particularly impressive is that it will even borrow the latest tech and convenience amenities from the higher Kia EVs to ensure that the buyers relish the in-cabin experience. Let us wait to see what the global premiere encapsulates.
