The upcoming 2025 model will bear aesthetic, as well as performance updates in comparison to the outgoing version
The 2025 Kia EV6 has been spied testing in the U.S. ahead of the debut. We will most likely experience the electric crossover on the American streets by the end of this year. Note that the 2025 version was already launched in Korea earlier this year. Hence, we already know what the update will tweak. Nevertheless, the latest spy shots reveal an interesting design detail.

2025 Kia EV6 Seen In The U.S.
We stumbled upon this video courtesy of kindelauto on Instagram. The visuals capture a heavily camouflaged Kia EV6 on the streets of the U.S. It is spotted slowing down at the traffic lights. Despite the covering, we are able to recognize the striking LED DRL pattern. It is reminiscent of the latest Kia EVs like the EV9, EV3, etc. Add to that the overall demeanour and we can safely infer that this is the new 2025 Kia EV6 for the U.S.
The front and the rear sections will bear a few alterations in comparison to the outgoing model. That will tell it apart from the previous model. However, the main difference will lie under the floor. It will get a larger 84 kWh battery pack, up from 77.4 kWh. In terms of the Korean test cycle, this is good for 307 miles (494 km), in contrast to 295 miles (475 km) of the pre-facelift trim.
Charging the battery from 10% to 80% will still take 18 minutes on a 350 kW DC fast charger. The EV6’s ride comfort has been enhanced with improved frequency-selective dampers, while the motors are now quieter and the body structure is stronger. The powertrain options remain unchanged, with the RWD model offering 225 hp and 350 Nm, and the AWD model delivering 320 hp and 605 Nm of maximum power and torque, respectively.
