iKamper has created a specifically designed rooftop tent for the Rivian R1T and R1S electric cars

Rivian R1T And R1S EVs with Rooftop Tent
Known as the Skycamp Mini, the exclusively designed tent for Rivian EV owners is created to protect its occupants from high winds, UV Rays and inclement weather. It is now part of the Rivian Gear Shop. Remember that a 3-person tent was originally on offer from Yakima when the top models of Rivian went on sale. It is still on offer for $2,800. This makes this iKamper rooftop tent the second official accessory in this category.
The Skycamp Mini features locking mounting brackets compatible with Rivian’s Adventure Key Set and an aerodynamic hard shell storage case that sits on the truck bed or roof of an R1T or R1S, respectively. It sits on top of the EV’s cargo crossbars which are sold separately.
Furthermore, the rooftop tent kit even incorporates iKamper’s FTT Comfort 4-inch mattress which will enhance the comfort of the occupants regardless of where they are. iKamper mentions that the tent can accommodate up to 2 people and stand strong with wind speeds of up to 35 mph (56 km/h). All these components are designed to enable an adventurous lifestyle. It has a price tag of $4,595, making it a premium offering.
